To Pimp A Butterfly

On March 16th, Kendrick Lamar dropped his highly anticipated follow up album , To Pimp A Butterfly. We can always count on Kendrick to hit us with something game changing.

This album is heavily influenced in jazz, spoken word and of course carries that west coast funk. Overall this album is a great follow up to good kid, m.A.A.d city . It deviates from  the usual girls, cars and cash lyrics we hear on the radio and takes us to a world that speaks of deeper issues; the struggles of the industry (we suggest you listen to “Institutionalized” ).

We can hype the album up and break down each song element by element but we rather you listen and form an opinion yourself.

Listen below and let us know what your favorite track is.
