We cannot let this week pass without wrapping up one of the most talked about topics of the past two weeks; Drake vs. Meek Mill. If you caught our previous show , you will get our initial opinions on the entire beef.
We don’t want to relay the entire situation as we are sure that you all are well versed with what is going on. We just want to leave you with three points that Drake proved to us.
1. Life is Chess not Checkers.
You can react to actions because that is what makes us human. However, using good form and
knowing when to play your cards is the best strategy. Meek caught him self “outing” Drake for being a fraud. While Meek was tweeting away, we can be sure that he didn’t think about OVO fest being a week or so away and Drake using that platform to come back at him. As unapologetic as you may be, in this business of life timing is always right.
2. All publicity is good publicity
We cannot lie. Hearing someone else rap 10 Bands broke our Drakey hearts.

3.Times have changed
As much as we don’t want to admit it, Drake was called out for the main cardinal sin of Hip Hop, stealing bars. Could it be that times have officially changed? Do we care about the ghostwriters behind the records or do we just care about being entertained by the completed product. Is it still ghostwriting if a person “collaborated” with the artist? What if everyone was to credit their ghostwriters, could you still respect your favorite artist even if they didn’t write their most quotable line?
